loud

Steve went to the Duran Duran concert at the Staples Center on
Saturday, and the bird in the row in front of him was screaming so
loud, it made his hair stand on end. Played footie this weekend
and scored another goal!

Jonesy now breaks into song occansionally, playing his acoustic
guitar and making up lyrics as he goes along. Did I hear something
today about "I wake up this morning, had a wank, washed my face.."
in today's blues number opening the show? I think so. Jonesy also
does a spot-on Jerry Lewis imitation "Hey, lady..."
"We had a quite a night out," sez Mr. Shovel. Seems Mr S. and
Steve were in attendance at the (2/23) at the S'coolgirls/Vacation

Adam Sandler

Guest:Adam Sandler

Adam counseled Jonesy on his problems with birds. We learn that
Jonesy has never said "I love you" to a bird!!!(at least not in
the serious, romantic sense) and often gets a "blank stare" after
listening to a bird talk for more than five minutes...Steve once
had some French bulldogs that "chewed the leg" of a friend's dog.
He returned the dogs to their breeder shortly after that. His
boxer Winston died of a brain tumor a few years ago.

Adam just finished filming "The Longest Yard" with Burt Reynolds,
Chris Rock and Nelly. and Music included more Journey, Loverboy &
Glass Tiger! Adam choose "Strutter" by Kiss to open the show. He
talked about the musical "cliques" in school when he was growing
up in New Hampshire.

with her 13 year old son Jake, her hubby Robert Hayes & Brad

walking

Jonesy walked to work again today. Mr. S. dropped him off
yesterday at the "secret location" where Jonesy parks his car and
was very impressed by the distance that Jonesy walks. Quite an
accomplishment for a layabout like me", sez Steve," Left to my own
devices, I'd stay home with Astroglide, Playstation and cream
pies, pay my mortgage and not be bothered. I'm too old now."
That's our ole curmudgeon. In fitting fashion, today was another

In the Glasgow Herald

Interview...

"...Jones's unique DJ-ing style. Actually, "style" might be a little excessive when it comes to describing the casual approach he adopts. "I'm not afraid of dead air," he says, and I believe him. He'll spin half a dozen tunes in a row (all his own choices), start telling you who they were, forget what he played halfway through, ask his producer for help, then give up and launch into an anecdote about his own personal link to one of the bands, which will more often than not involve his stealing their amps or microphones back in the seventies."
