Felix Dennis and Courtney Love

Felix Dennis (Stuff/Maxim/Blender publisher) and Courtney Love
were guests. Felix read some of his poetry. He's currently
bringing his"Did I Mention The Free Wine?" poetry tour to the U.S.

He talked about living on Mustique part of the year, and when he
was in prison in the UK (Wormwood Scrubs) for publishing the
controversial magazine "Oz." Courtney was pretty calm (for her)
and seemed to behave, although Steve had to reprimand her because
her knee was "touching his doo-dad." She is headlining a show at
the Wiltern in L.A. Oct. 30th with the Suicide Girls & Juliette &
The Licks.

Dustman

Jonesy mentioned that he woke up late this morning to the
sound of the "dustman"(garbage man) making his rounds. Mr.
Shovel found this terminology humorous. A girl (sorry,

to guess his weight, pulling up his shirt to expose his now
infamous belly.

talking about touring in England on the cheap and having to

also mentioned the "Hooligans & Thugs" DVD that Jonesy
narrated. It's a documentary about soccer riots/general
violence and features Jonesy sitting on the toilet(!),
wearing chain mail, etc. Available here:

Happy Birthday 49

Happy Birthday, Steve! 49 today. Some girls from the
Spanish stations next door came in to sing Happy Birthday to
Steve in espanol, then Mr. Shovel presented him with an
orange satin turban, cape and scepter. (But where's the
spaceship?) Some listeners came in to interview him,
including a girl who sets appointments for an escort service
and a fellow from some weird outer space type cult group,
not quite sure what that was. At the end the Indie staff
came in to sing him Happy Birthday.
