Steve spent the weekend in Mexico, at a "flash" resort. He
wondered about the meaning of the Blondie album title "Plastic
Letters." He thought it might have something to do with "johnnies"
(Brit slang for condoms) while Mr. Shovel ventured it had
something to do with letters on a marquee.

morrissey
Morrissey played the Universal Amphitheatre Thurs. nite, in a show
sponsored by the "Sleeping Giant" (Steve's term for KROQ).
Apparently, Morrissey mentioned Jonesy onstage, and the folks at
the "other station" weren't too happy about that.
Guest: Keith Morris. Keith played a few songs, talked about fans
crashing a sold-out Circle Jerks concert at the Henry Fonda. There
was also a discussion of farm girls in Nebraska and Jonesy's
admiration for their "thick calves" (not the ones in the barn.)
Songs included:

didn't say whether Cameron was impressed by his physique.)

the election results. "You have to take care of your side of the
street," said Jonesy. "Don't take it so hard." Michael talked
about appearing in "To Sir With Love" with Lulu and Sidney
Poitier, as well as a all-nude musical "The Dirtiest Show In
Town." (He played an androgynous rock star.)" It was a huge role,"
said Michael. "Did it shrivel?" Jonesy asked. "Stop it, Jonesy,"
Michael replied. Sting "has millions and millions of dollars "but
he's still bald."
