I spent too much today trying to track down what of the many bands called variations of Paper Tiger(s) were to be on tomorrow before it was pointed out to me that the band was actually the Republic Tigers. Sorry for any confusion but i am sure Steve did say Paper Tigers. I have to go listen to the show again. ) ( Okay i listened agan and he only mentions Paper Tigers. Once at the start and once at the end )

its actually the republic tigers...although paper tiger is one of my favorite spoon songs....close enough i guess...their a great band...i cant wait for that
After today i also know it is a Beck song and the name , or variation of, for a lot of bands.

Republic Tigers songs started out rough, singer sounded nervous, but each one got better til I wanted to hear more. Second song was 'Made Concrete', pretty good. LOVED the cover song. I bought the itunes EP and can't wait for the full album.
